About the Role
Due to continued growth, two newly created roles are available for proactive and highly capable Broker Relationship Managers to support our national Broker channel.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Broker & Commercial Operations, these important roles will provide desk-based support to Brokers across Australia, working closely with our field BDM team to deliver a seamless and responsive Broker experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving scenarios and being a key point of contact for Brokers, particularly in fast-moving lending environments such as personal loans and secured car finance.
What You’ll Do
- Provide proactive support to Brokers nationally across personal loans and secured car loans.
- Act as a key point of contact for Brokers when BDMs are unavailable (e.g. PD days, leave or in-market activity).
- Assist Brokers with deal structuring, scenario discussions and policy guidance to improve conversion outcomes.
- Manage inbound Broker enquiries and deliver timely, solutions-focused responses
- Conduct outbound engagement to Brokers to drive awareness, pipeline growth, and product utilisation.
- Support onboarding and accreditation of new Brokers into the Alex Bank ecosystem.
- Work closely with BDMs, credit, and operations teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end experience.
- Help identify trends, Broker feedback, and opportunities to improve processes, policy, and service levels
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5+ years’ experience in financial services, lending, Broker support, or internal sales
- Strong understanding of consumer lending, particularly personal loans and/ or asset finance (highly regarded)
- Ability to confidently discuss credit scenarios and provide practical solutions to Brokers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills over phone and digital channels
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A team-first mindset with the ability to support both Brokers and internal stakeholders
- Passion for delivering great Broker and customer outcomes
