Our East Fremantle venue has a strong and loyal community, and we’re looking for a confident, values-driven Front of House Supervisor to help lead the team, set the tone on shift, and consistently deliver the Alchemy experience.
About the Role
As Front of House Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day guest experience and venue flow. You’ll lead from the front during your shifts, ensuring the space is vibrant, welcoming, and operating to a high standard at all times.
This is a full-time contracted position, providing stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to play a key role in the performance and culture of the venue.
You will support and guide the Front of House team, maintain presentation and cleanliness standards, oversee bookings and guest flow, and step in wherever needed to keep the shift running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager and Area Manager, acting as a trusted 2IC and a key point of support for the wider team.
What You’ll Do
Customer Experience & Relationships
- Be the welcoming face of Alchemy – greet every customer with warmth, energy and confidence.
- Build genuine connections with members and foster a strong sense of community.
- Handle customer enquiries and feedback with care, escalating complex matters when required.
Operations & Venue Oversight
- Take ownership of the venue during your shifts, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient operations.
- Complete daily checklists and maintain presentation and cleanliness to Alchemy’s standards.
- Support with rostering changes, staff absences and operational updates.
Staff Support & Training
- Mentor and support Front of House staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Stock & Maintenance
- Manage stock using our Sortly system, including ordering and unpacking deliveries.
- Flag and escalate maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Support with incident reporting and operational documentation.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Supervisor and Operations meetings.
- Communicate clearly with Venue and Area Managers to keep everyone aligned.
- Take initiative on ad-hoc projects and venue improvements.
