We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter who is looking to join our team and is passionate about delivering high performance.

About the role:

  • We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Wetherill Park team on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm).
  • Pay rate: $48.24 and monthly RDO’s
  • In this hands-on role, you’ll perform routine maintenance procedures and assist in quick troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical problems that arise in manufacturing processes and equipment. You’ll also maintain records in MEX and uphold strong safety standards in everything you do.
  • You must have full working rights in Australia to be eligible for this role.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Fitter, or similar mechanical trade role in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform fault finding and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, blowers)
  • Able to repair and replace pipework and perform fitting/fabrication work when needed.
  • Skilled in operating the lathe machine and doing basic machining jobs.
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance routines and systems
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
  • Proven ability to work safely in environments with chemicals, confined spaces, and around moving equipment
  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably MEX or similar
  • Basic welding (TIG/MIG/stick) experience for minor mechanical repairs and fabrication (desirable)
  • Familiarity with isolation and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures (desirable)
