Job Overview

As a Medical Software Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding Akuru’s market presence. In this position, you’ll focus on generating new business opportunities, delivering product demonstrations, and building relationships with healthcare professionals.

You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders and receive hands-on training and coaching, with a strong focus on developing your sales skills, building pipeline, and consistently closing new business.

Your efforts will help ensure that i-scribe and future Akuru solutions are effectively adopted across the medical sector. This role is designed as a pathway into Business Development Manager positions for high performers.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospect and engage new clinics through calls, email, and in-person visits
  • Book and deliver product demonstrations (both virtual and face-to-face)
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clinicians, practice managers, and support staff
  • Support trial users and convert them into long-term customers
  • Maintain accurate records and manage your pipeline using HubSpot CRM
  • Leverage modern sales and efficiency tools to maximise activity and results
  • Share customer insights and feedback that directly shape the direction of Akuru products and services
  • Collaborate within a tight-knit, high-performing sales team
  • Continuously learn and improve through ongoing coaching and feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–24 months’ experience in sales or a high-performance, customer-facing role
  • Genuine interest in healthcare and technology, with curiosity around AI
  • Driven and competitive, with strong motivation to hit targets and earn
  • Resilient and comfortable with outbound sales, including handling rejection
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Confident communicator who can quickly build trust and rapport
  • Strong attention to detail with disciplined use of CRM and sales tools
  • Coachable, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Full driver’s licence and reliable transport
