An Employment Skills Training Facilitator’s Day involves:
- Facilitating group training sessions to jobseekers, face to face and online if required
- Working with the job seekers referred from digital services and other employment service providers to our Employability skills training program
- Delivering engaging group-based training
- Promoting Jobfind and EST courses
- Providing completion report to the jobseekers participating in the program
- Understanding the needs of local employers and labour markets
- Ensuring high engagement of job seekers to complete the EST training blocks
- Identifying job seekers area of interest and assisting them to secure work trials
- Connecting job seekers through apprenticeship and traineeship
- Identifying issues and working with the host organisation or job seekers to resolve them
- Undertaking risk assessment for the job seeker and the host organisation for industry awareness experiences
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in Employment Services is highly regarded
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
- Efficient administration skills and able to demonstrate effective time management skills
- Highly organised and able to self-manage day to day tasks appropriately
- Capable of handling difficult situations and manage conflict
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with a range of diverse people

To be considered you must…
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
- Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Ability to work Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
