The Opportunity

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will lead the design and development of next- generation LED control systems from concept through to production, and tackling complex challenges in embedded systems, IoT integration, and power-efficient design.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you core focus will be across:

  • Design and optimising high-performance PCB layouts and embedded firmware for controllers
  • Integrate IoT protocols (e.g., Zigbee, DMX) for smart lighting solutions Drive innovation in human-centric lighting and energy-efficient designs Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware/firmware issues
  • Collaborate with software engineers and OEM partners to deliver bespoke solutions for global clients
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the company’s R&D roadmap

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field

Skills and experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in electronics design, ideally in LED systems, automotive, semiconductors, or IoT devices
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer), embedded C, and micro controller programming
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, thermal management, and IoT connectivity protocols
  • Experience with sustainable design or retrofitting legacy systems is highly desirable Proven ability to lead projects, partnering with key stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication skills
