Description

Set the standard for how vision, data and insight support elite AFLW performance.

The Adelaide Football Club is looking for a Football Analyst to help capture, code and organise the vision and data that underpin our AFLW program. This role is ideal for someone early in their analysis journey who is seeking hands‑on experience inside an elite football environment.

You’ll be part of the broader football program, working closely with analysts, coaches and support staff in a collaborative, high‑performance environment with a strong focus on preparation, learning and clear communication.

About the role

Reporting to the Football Systems Analyst, you will support filming, live coding, vision management and data systems. Success in this role looks like accurate and timely capture of training and match vision, organised video libraries and reliable collaboration with coaches and other football stakeholders.

Commitment

You will work part‑time (approximately 2 days per week) on a maximum‑term contract through to December 2026, with the opportunity to extend in line with the AFLW season. This role supports training, trials and match days across the weekly AFC program and includes some evenings, weekends and travel to away games.

What you’ll be doing

  • Capture and code club training sessions and matches
  • Upload and manage training and game vision
  • Maintain video libraries and data systems
  • Support match day operations and technology setup
  • Contribute to review and presentation content

You’ll be a great fit if you

  • Have experience with SportsCode, Hudl or similar tools
  • Enjoy working with video, data and systems
  • Bring strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and work well in a team
  • Have flexibility to work evenings, weekends and match days
  • Are studying or have studied sport science, analysis or related fields, or have equivalent practical experience
  • Want to learn and grow in an elite sporting environment

What’s in it for you?

Working at the Adelaide Football Club means contributing to something bigger than day‑to‑day tasks. The work you do will directly shape how our AFLW program prepares, reviews and performs each week. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in an elite football environment, develop meaningful technical and football skills, and be part of a purpose‑driven team where your impact is visible and valued.
