Role Overview:

This is a two-year fixed-term position with a variable FTE:

April to July – 0.8 FTE, August to March – Full-time (The exact commencement and duration of the part-time arrangement may vary depending on operational requirements)

The Producer, Opera and Special Projects plays a key role in the planning and delivery of Adelaide Festival’s opera productions and selected special projects. Working collaboratively across Programming, Production, Marketing, Philanthropy and Corporate Services, this role supports high-quality artistic outcomes through detailed production planning, artist engagement, budget management and logistics coordination in a fast-paced festival environment.

This is an opportunity for an experienced producer who enjoys managing complex live performance projects, specifically opera productions, and working closely with artists, creative teams, venues and partners from Australia and overseas. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a collaborative approach are essential to success in this role.
