Health Educator

Summary:

The Health Educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs that promote healthy behaviors and prevent diseases. They work in a variety of settings and collaborate with healthcare professionals and public health officials to address the needs of the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counselling

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, or related field
• Certification in Health Education through a recognised organisation
• Understanding of public health principles and practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, community organisations, and public health officials
• Ability to collect and analyse data
