So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?
- Gain hands-on experience across commercial and civic landscapes.
- Work with one of Australia’s leading landscape maintenance providers.
- Learn on the job in a fast-paced, skill-focused environment.
- Assist with turf and garden maintenance on diverse sites.
- Apply herbicides and pesticides safely under supervision.
- Identify plants, pests, diseases, and seasonal care needs.
- Operate horticultural machinery and equipment safely.
- Assist with irrigation upkeep and minor repairs.
- Learn sustainable practices and land care principles.
- Progress toward completing Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.
- Participate in structured TAFE training with practical assessments.
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople and industry mentors.
- Build technical skills in planting, pruning, and soil care.
What are we looking for?
- Someone with a genuine interest in getting trade qualified while being paid
- An interest in pursuing a career in the Landscape/Horticulture Industry.
- Someone that wants a career with many great opportunities for advancement
- Available to work Monday to Friday with 1 day a week at Tafe paid
What will you need?
- Driver’s licence and own transport. Or ability to get to site.
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
