We’re looking for a seasoned project delivery professional — someone with at least 5 years of experience driving technology and AI transformation projects end-to-end, backed by a strong track record in retail and ecommerce. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role within a team of around 15 talented technology specialists.

About the Role
As an Project Delivery Lead at 4WD Supacentre, you’ll play a critical role in managing multiple technology projects concurrently. Working in a medium sized team, this is a hands-on role that will move at pace. Reporting to the Technology & Project Director.
We have multiple technology transformation projects, including exciting ones around the use of AI in a retail and ecommerce environment.
For the projects we are juggling, you will be juggling roadmaps, milestones, project risks and solutions and keeping all stakeholders updated on progress. You will be able to measure and track agreed project milestones and measurable outcomes to ensure the success of each project.
Your typical week will involve a balanced mix of responsibilities, including road mapping, maintaining project status updates, communicating and documenting and unblocking hurdles. You’ll work closely with internal developers, quality testers, other departments and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, and within budget. Initially this role will predominantly be focused around projects that deliver technology transformation with the use of AI.
Role Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed project roadmaps
Track milestones and measurable outcomes
Identify, log and manage project risks
Remove blockers and unblock dependencies
Maintain up-to-date project status reporting
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between departments and external vendors
Support budget tracking and resource planning
Document project decisions, processes and outcomes
Contribute to AI adoption initiatives
Drive a culture of continuous improvement
Part of the role will include BA / Documentation
About you
You are a natural project driver who thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days look the same. You bring a calm, organised hand to complexity — confidently juggling multiple projects, competing priorities and stakeholder expectations without dropping the ball. You are someone who never says, ‘it cannot be done’, but rather leave no stone unturned to overcome difficulties.
You’ll Bring:
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong roadmapping and planning skills, with the ability to build and maintain clear project timelines and milestones
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal
A sharp eye for risk — identifying, escalating and resolving project issues before they become problems
Experience working at the intersection of business and technology, translating business needs into structured delivery plans
A solid understanding of AI, machine learning and automation technologies and their application in a commercial retail setting
Hands-on experience with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana or similar
A high standard for project documentation, including status reports, risk logs and decision registers
The ability to work closely with developers, QA testers and non-technical stakeholders with equal confidence
A commercial mindset with experience tracking budgets, resources and delivery against agreed outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years in project delivery, project management or a related role within a technology environment
5+ years working in a retailer / ecommerce environment in Australia
Experience delivering AI, automation and ecommerce technology projects
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
Demonstrated experience delivering technology or digital transformation projects end-to-end
Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology
Beneficial Skills and Qualifications (but not essential):
Experience working in a business with their own distribution centres / warehouses
Experience with SAP, Salesforce, UKG, Magento, Shopify
Experience with integration platforms such as Workato
PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification
Agile or Scrum Master certification
Experience working with third-party vendors and managing external delivery partners
