We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join us in a full-time, permanent Hotel Reception / Guest Experience role.

As a valued member of our team, you will receive outstanding training and be part of the excitement from day one. Your role is to create exceptional experiences for every guest, no matter the reason for their stay. You’ll play an active part in making people feel genuinely welcome, attending to their needs, brightening their day, and delivering the highest quality service possible.

In our Hotel Reception / Guest Experience team, you’ll be empowered to exceed expectations at every stage of the guest journey — from managing room bookings and providing a warm, efficient check-in, to ensuring guests leave with lasting positive memories of their stay.

Key skills and responsibilities:

  • Deliver the very best personalised service and create loyal guests and visitors;
  • Provide exceptional front of house experiences that go above and beyond in welcoming and assisting our guests;
  • Actively assist all guests and visitors in discovering and enjoying everything Newcastle has to offer;
  • Handle booking enquiries efficiently, accurately and with a friendly approach;
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback or concerns to ensure a positive resolution;
  • Handle booking enquiries and contribute to guest targets including sales and loyalty;
  • Work with us to maintain the highest quality property with cleanliness and maintained facilities that are second to none.

About You:

  • Relevant experience in a venue, hotel or hospitality environment, with a genuine passion for service excellence preferred;
  • Ability to collaborate with a high performing team to achieve business targets in service and sales;
  • Strong desire to work in an accountable and empowered team;
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours including weekends;
  • Strong technology skills, including systems such as RMS;
  • High level skills in written and verbal communication.
