We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Leading Hand to become the backbone of our Hoarding operations in Derrimut. Lead from the front! As a Leading Hand, you’ll play a key role in assisting our Hoarding Team.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Ensure that all work performed adheres strictly to compliance requirements.
• Implement and adhere to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures.
• OH&S Management
• Exercise leading hand duties by supervising and coordinating onsite events and assigned project works.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives, Site Managers, Project Engineers, and CA’s onsite to ensure the correct delivery of the project scope.
• Assist in resolving issues related to installation, paperwork, and stock discrepancies.
• Conduct site counts and maintain adequate stock levels for seamless operations.
• Identify additional equipment requirements to enhance onsite efficiency and overall performance.
To be successful for this role, you must have the following:
• Previous experience as a leading hand (essential)
• Construction industry experience preferred with a strong knowledge in installation standards
• Confident in conducting onsite toolbox talks and addressing any non-compliance incidents and behaviours
• Sound understanding of OH&S policies and procedures
• Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels on site
• Be well presented with great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid drivers’ licence and forklift licence (essential)
• MR truck licence (desirable)
