The Role
We are seeking a motivated individual with a positive, “can-do” attitude to join our supportive team based in Derrimut, Melbourne. This full-time position is ideal for someone who demonstrates strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Derrimut branch. You will be the first point of contact for customer and subcontractor enquiries via phone, email, and in person, and will be instrumental in delivering a seamless and high-quality service experience.
You will manage ongoing communication between subcontractors, warehouse staff, stock controllers, and external transport providers. The role also involves tracking stock, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. To succeed in this position, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a polite and professional phone manner.
You :
- Proactive and diligent, with a strong desire to learn and grow — experience in the Hire industry is not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Thriving in fast-paced environments and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Experienced in a similar customer service or administrative role, with confidence in learning new software systems.
- Confident with Suite 360
- A confident communicator with strong customer service capabilities.
- Highly organised with effective time management skills.
- Able to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a team environment.
- Capable of prioritising tasks, meeting targets, and applying strong problem-solving skills.
