We are seeking a Director of Revenue to join the hotel’s Guidance Team, reporting directly to the General Manager, and play a key role in driving the commercial success of the property.
The Role
The Director of Revenue leads the strategic direction of pricing, forecasting, distribution, and demand optimisation across all market segments. This role ensures that revenue strategy supports both strong financial performance and the distinctive guest experience that defines 1 Hotels.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, the Director of Revenue will translate data into clear commercial strategy, ensuring the hotel remains competitive in the market while maximising revenue opportunities across all channels.
What You’ll Do
– Develop and lead the hotel’s revenue management strategy, including pricing, forecasting, and demand management.
– Optimise revenue performance through strategic distribution, market analysis, and inventory management.
– Lead regular revenue strategy meetings and provide clear insights to the Guidance Team.
– Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and guest experience.
– Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and demand patterns to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
– Ensure revenue strategy is well understood across the leadership and operational teams.
– Report on revenue management effectiveness metrics to key stakeholders
– Understand and achieve performance, budget and team goals
– Forecasting and budgeting
What We’re Looking For
A commercially minded leader with a highly analytical approach to revenue management.
The ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear and actionable strategies.
A confident communicator who can engage effectively with all levels of the team, from senior leadership to operational departments.
Experience within luxury, lifestyle, or high-end hospitality environments preferred.
Key qualifications and skills
- Minimum 6+ years in revenue management with global brand experience
- Bachelor’s degree in BA or equivalent
- Proven success in implementing and managing revenue and booking systems
- High attention to detail, proactive and self-driven

operations or sales, bringing valuable operational insight to your revenue
leadership.

This is a full-time position on an annual salary plus Superannuation with a yearly bonus scheme.
