The Roles
We are now hiring a Breakfast Chef de Partie and a Commis Chef for our Banquets team to join our purpose-driven kitchen brigade. These roles offer the opportunity to work with seasonal, high-quality ingredients while growing your career in a collaborative, creative, and sustainability-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with precision, care, and consistency
- Deliver memorable guest experiences through thoughtful and creative execution
- Know the menus inside out, taste, learn, and develop continuously
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment
- Assist with menu development and contribute innovative ideas
- Work collaboratively across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event service (role dependent)
- Support sustainable kitchen operations, including stock control and waste reduction
About You
- Proven experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or Commis Chef, depending on position)
- Strong cooking fundamentals and a passion for continuous learning
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine love for hospitality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 7-day operation
- Aligned with 1 Hotel’s mission to care for people and the planet
- Culinary qualifications preferred but not essential
