Streamline your hiring workflow and make it even easier to attract top talent. You can now add benefits to a requisition, so when a new hire is onboarded, their benefits are automatically pre-filled. It’s a simple change that makes a big impact.

We’ve consolidated our approval systems into our modern Workflows engine, unlocking new automation options for employee requisitions and onboarding. This will give you more power and control over your employee lifecycle.

New name for requisitions and onboarding approvals

To clear up any confusion, we’ve renamed the custom security setting for requisitions and onboarding approvals to “Workflows & Approvals.” This is a name change only.

Onboarding workflow update

Say goodbye to manual workarounds. We’ve fixed an issue that ensures your onboarding workflows now reliably run for every new hire, no matter how they are added to the platform. This means a smoother, more consistent onboarding experience for everyone.

Notifications for Superannuation changes

We’ve added new notifications for superannuation changes, ensuring your employees are always in the loop. Now, when you update any employee super details, they will receive an email notification with the updates. It’s all about giving you and your employees control and compliance peace of mind.

Default super fund selection
(Available to all subscription tiers)
We’ve simplified the process of selecting a default superannuation fund for Australian businesses without an award. MySuper compliant funds will be highlighted and you can select only one default fund. This simplifies your payroll, reduces compliance risk and makes onboarding new employees a breeze.

Manage super fund mergers easier

We’ve released a new feature to help employees manage superannuation fund mergers, which means fewer payroll delays and better compliance for you. It’s all part of our mission to simplify superannuation and make your life a little easier ahead of Payday Super changes.

We’ve updated the Leave Overview Report by separating the two charts (Accrued Time Off and Taken and Pending Time Off) and consolidated filters to help you find the info you need faster and easier. It’s all about making your reporting workflow smoother.

Benefits Report update

The Benefits Management report has been updated with some great improvements. With consistent filters and two new fields, you can now easily access and use the data you need.
Security and Permissions
Enhanced user access overview dashboards

Our enhanced user access dashboards now give you more visibility into your team’s security, with details like their last login, 2FA status and more. This update helps you feel confident that your information is safe.

Keep your team’s access to rosters and timesheets precise and secure. This update lets you set permissions by work site, so managers only see what’s relevant to them, making workflows smoother and more efficient.

Sync independent contractor details

Paying your independent contractors just got a lot smoother. You can now seamlessly sync contractor details directly from HR to payroll. With new tabs for pay and tax details, it’s easier than ever to get your contractors paid on time.

View and track form submissions

With the new “My Submissions” tab, you have one central spot to view, track, and review all your past form submissions. No more digging around; just quick, easy access.

Admins no longer have to export form responses to a CSV just to see them. With the new “Responses” tab, you can now quickly and easily view, filter and access all submissions directly within the platform.

API and Developer tools
Introducing: Write APIs

Our first Write APIs are here. Now you can easily update employee personal and employment details directly. This means more power and flexibility to manage your data.
More flexibility with updated OpenAPI

For our developer community, we’ve updated our API rate-limiting logic. The new user-based limits of 20 requests per second and 100 requests per minute are designed to improve platform stability and ensure a smoother experience for everyone.
API user interface organisation

We’ve given the Developer Portal a facelift, updating the application creation flow to organise technical scopes into clear, logical groups. Now it’s easier than ever to select the right permissions and get to building.
Updated OpenAPI employee fields

We’ve added new API features that allow you to quickly add employees and contractors and manage employee documents with ease. Our updated developer docs make it easy to get started.
