Swag Jobs and AI
Swag Jobs is a platform that utilises AI tools. Swag Jobs revolutionises the job search and hiring process by offering a job board with AI enhancements, and intelligent, data-driven matching and recommendations. To provide you with the utmost transparency on the implementation or integration of AI across Swag Jobs, the table below provides details on the Swag Jobs features that are powered by the AI tools of our AI technology partners.

You are responsible for all inputs that get processed through any AI features, as well as the outputs generated from those inputs. We do not have any control over your input content or the outputs generated by the AI tools powered by our third party technology providers.
SmartMatch
A core feature of Swag Jobs is SmartMatch, which connects candidates and businesses through advanced matching algorithms. SmartMatch analyses a candidate’s skills, experience, and certifications to connect them with businesses (and job opportunities they post) based on its specifications and needs. The SmartMatch algorithms also focus on aligning with global regulatory requirements including employment law, data privacy laws, and international AI governance principles.

The SmartMatch algorithms match relevant candidates with businesses, which includes shortlisting candidates to existing and upcoming job opportunities. This algorithm matches the two sides based on the candidate’s recent experience (including job titles, industry, and location), job preferences and interests, education and qualifications, and job application activity, to align them with relevant job specifications in job ads or general demand from businesses for relevant candidates. Our machine learning algorithms continuously develop and improve to create better matches between candidates and businesses by assessing the performance of our services. | Commitment to mitigating bias and discrimination |
We have designed our algorithms with the aim of achieving fair outcomes for the candidates and businesses. This includes not analysing data that contain personal information that may lead to discrimination or bias. We regularly review our algorithms to identify and address any potential biases that may emerge and further improve the model. |

Your data
Any personal data you provide is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. When we provide the Swag Jobs services to you, we only process the data you provide to us via the platform and the relevant user activity data available to us from your use of these services.
Your data may be continuously processed to create relevant matches and recommendations provided by SmartMatch. This means that if you are a candidate using Swag Jobs, your profile information will be shared with businesses to connect you to them. You can control how your personal data is used for SmartMatch by going to your profile settings here.
You are responsible for the data you input into your Swag Jobs profile, or any job applications made on Swag Jobs, and you are also responsible for ensuring the information you provide on Swag Jobs is accurate and up-to-date.
We use data relating to the performance of our services and user activity (excluding personal data) to improve and develop our models. We do not use candidate personal data to train any AI models or for machine learning.
We do not expressly permit our AI technology partners to use the personal data of our customers to train their AI models.
We do not sell any of your personal data to third parties.
SmartMatch notification
For the purpose of delivering the SmartMatch feature to maximum effect, we may give you operational notifications relating to your profile’s SmartMatch activity. If you are a candidate on Swag Jobs, you may receive in platform, sms, or email notifications triggered by specific activity such as when a business saves your profile or contacts you, and when you get recommended to a job ad or business. You can manage your notifications by going to your profile settings here.
Businesses may also receive in-platform or email notification relating to Swag Jobs or SmartMatch activity which can be managed via the business’s account settings.

AI technology partners
We use third parties to provide some of our AI features in Swag Jobs. By using Swag Jobs, you consent to personal data you include in your profile and inputs being transferred to third parties, including OpenAI and Affinda.
