This EH Jobs Product Statement (Product Statement) applies to your use of the Employment Hero Jobs board (EH Jobs board) and the Employment Hero Jobs app (EH Jobs app), together “EH Jobs”.

This Product Statement includes information about specific features and functionalities of EH Jobs, and transparency relating to the data privacy practices in play, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning in providing these services.

EH Jobs board and AI

The EH Jobs board is a platform that utilises AI tools. The EH Jobs board revolutionises the job search and hiring process by offering a job board with AI enhancements, and intelligent, data-driven matching and recommendations. To provide you with the utmost transparency on the implementation or integration of AI across the EH Jobs board, the table below provides details on its features that are powered by the AI tools of our AI technology partners. The following features may be added to the EH Jobs app at a later stage.

AI Assistant	Candidates	Our AI compares your profile to the job requirements and asks questions to fill any gaps. Based on your answers, your profile and application are updated automatically. You can review and edit your application before submitting.
CV parsing	Candidates	Your EH Jobs profile details are auto-filled based on the latest CV you have uploaded on to your profile. You are encouraged to make sure this information is accurate.

You are responsible for all inputs that get processed through any AI features, as well as the outputs generated from those inputs. We do not have any control over your input content or the outputs generated by the AI tools powered by our third party technology providers.

Matching Technology

A core functionality of EH Jobs is is the ability to match candidates with businesses and job postings. Through advanced algorithms and AI, the platform analyses a candidate’s skills, experience, and certifications to connect them with businesses (and job opportunities they post) based on its specifications and needs. The algorithms also focus on aligning with global regulatory requirements including employment law, data privacy laws, and international AI governance principles.

Key Elements	How The Model Works
The design and algorithm	The algorithms match relevant candidates with businesses, which includes shortlisting candidates to existing and upcoming job opportunities. This algorithm matches the two sides based on the candidate’s recent experience (including job titles, industry, and location), job preferences and interests, education and qualifications, and job application activity, to align them with relevant job specifications in job ads or general demand from businesses for relevant candidates. Our machine learning algorithms continuously develop and improve to create better matches between candidates and businesses by assessing the performance of our services. Commitment to mitigating bias and discrimination	We have designed our algorithms with the aim of achieving fair outcomes for the candidates and businesses. This includes not analysing data that contain personal information that may lead to discrimination or bias.  We regularly review our algorithms to identify and address any potential biases that may emerge and further improve the model.
Human oversight and accountability	The final hiring decisions remain with the business customer (i.e. employers). The matching functionality fast tracks the hiring process and allows businesses to select a new hire based on their specific needs and preferences from a pool of relevant candidates.

EH Jobs app

The EH Jobs app facilitates the connection between candidates and business by allowing candidates to apply for jobs or simply express interest in certain businesses. Much like the EH Jobs board, you can apply for active roles, and connect with businesses on our platform. As a candidate you can communicate with these businesses via the chat feature.

You can express interest in businesses beyond the Employment Hero ecosystem: We streamline the job searching experience for our candidates by giving you the ability to also engage with businesses that are outside of the Employment Hero ecosystem. Instead of finding businesses one by one through online searches, you can engage with these businesses more easily via the EH Jobs app. We enable you to express interest in them, and further communicate with them with the chat feature. When you express interest in these businesses and send them messages, they will receive all this via secure emails, and their replies will land in your chat inbox in the EH Jobs app.

Your data 

Any personal data you provide is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. When we provide the EH Jobs services to you, we only process the data you provide to us via these services and the relevant user activity data available to us from your use of these services. 

Your data may be continuously processed to create relevant matches and recommendations provided through EH Jobs. This means that if you are a candidate using EH Jobs board, your profile information will be shared with businesses to connect you to them. You can control how your personal data is used through EH Jobs by going to your profile settings here.

You are responsible for the data you input into your EH Jobs profile, or any job applications made on EH Jobs, and you are also responsible for ensuring the information you provide on EH Jobs is accurate and up-to-date.

We use data relating to the performance of our services and user activity (excluding personal data) to improve and develop our models. We do not use candidate personal data to train any AI models or for machine learning.

We do not expressly permit our AI technology partners to use the personal data of our customers to train their AI models.

We do not sell any of your personal data to third parties.

EH Jobs notifications

For the purpose of delivering the our features to maximum effect, we may give you operational notifications relating to your profile’s activity. If you are a candidate on EH Jobs, you may receive in platform notifications, texts, or email notifications triggered by specific activity such as when a business saves your profile or contacts you, and when you get recommended to a job ad or business. You can manage your notifications by going to your profile settings here.

Businesses may also receive in-platform or email notification relating to recruitment activity which can be managed via the business’s account settings.

AI technology partners

We use third parties to provide some of our AI features in EH Jobs. By using EH Jobs, you consent to personal data you include in your profile and inputs being transferred to third parties, including OpenAI and Affinda. 

We may also share your data with select third party service providers we engage to generally provide the services you request. You can view a full list of our third-party sub-processors here.
