Description

This role is based on site at Wormall Group’s office in Osborne Park, Monday to Friday. Our multi-stage land development projects are located from Yanchep down to Augusta.

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion.

You’ll need a deep understanding of project management principles, exceptional organisational capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Previous experience in land development – particularly with water, power, gas, and communications services – is highly recommended for this role.

What your day will look like:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, while allocating resources efficiently.
  • Oversee project execution and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Establish and maintain clear project requirements, facilitate ongoing communication to align expectations, and conduct regular stakeholder meetings with updates on progress, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures, conduct inspections and audits, and address non-conformities with corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, analyse financial variances, implement cost-control measures, and provide financial reporting to stakeholders for transparency and accountability.
  • Continuously monitor project risks, implement proactive risk mitigation strategies, promptly address emerging issues, and escalate and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.

Skillset needed

  • Experience in urban land development or similar construction environments
  • Cert IV in Project Management (or working towards), or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Valid WA Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Construction Card/ White Card
