We are looking for an experienced contract administrator to join our team.
The responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Draft and negotiate real estate contract proposals to support the goals of the
business while ensuring that contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations
governing real estate transactions.
Review and administer existing contracts as required by the business and
regulations.
Analyse contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits and
determining their reasonability and accuracy.
Prepare, interpret, maintain, review and negotiate variations to contracts.
Negotiate and collaborate with buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and other
stakeholders on the contract terms and any proposed changes while ensuring that
projects and services remain within established budgets.
Advise senior management regarding the matters that needs attention.
Respond to inquiries and solve problems regarding contracts terms and services
provided and ensure compliance with contract terms and resolve disputes as they
arise.
Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies, local, state, and federal real estate
laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes staying updated on changes
in regulations that may impact real estate transactions and advising stakeholders
accordingly.
Ensure that all the work orders are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Manage contract documentation and create required status reports regarding
progress associated with ongoing contracts.
Serve as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries, clarifications, and conflict
resolution.
Maintain a comprehensive contract database of all real estate contracts, agreements,
amendments, and other relevant documents for easy retrieval and analysis.
Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are
being followed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for value enhancement and
risk mitigation.
Keep informed about changes in contract laws and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related
field.
Proven work experience of at least 2 years in real estate industry.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to build rapport and
influence key stakeholders
Knowledge of Australian legal requirements involved with contracts.
Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
Fluency in Latin language is preferred.
