Working with Sparkways in our sessional kindergartens
At Sparkways, we value the Co-educator (Cert III minimum) and Diploma minimum roles equally, and there is no differences in duties or seniority. Unfortunately, due to funding, there is a small difference in the hourly rate. The majority of our staff in Coeducator positions have Diploma or Degree level qualifications. Educator for 4-year-old Green Group
- 3 days per week
- Mon, Tue & Thu – 8.15 am to 4.30 pm – sessions with the children
- Up to 26.25 hours per week
- Cert III ECEC minimum required
Educator for Diploma Break Cover
- 13.75 hours per week
- 5 days per week
- Mon, Wed & Fri – 11.00 am to 2.15 pm; Tue & Thr – 12.30pm to 2.30pm
- Up to $28 per hour, with paid time off over the term breaks
- Diploma ECEC minimum required
If you want to increase your hours

- Ask about joining our relief team on your days off to increase your hours and pay

- Have you had extensive & recent experience working with 3 and 4 year old children, including children with additional needs?
- Do you have the skills to scaffold and document children’s learning in play based, child led pedagogy?
- Are you experienced in writing observations and learning stories, and using StoryPark?
