We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie / Cafe Lunch & Prep Chef to join our TotalFusion Platinum Newstead team!

About the Position:
- This position is suitable someone with Cafe Lunch experience in a fast pace environment.
- You will need to work independently, in a clean and organised manner.
- 5 day working weeks, not split shift
About You:
- energetic & motivated
- experience in a similar role
- up to date with food trends, processes, and skills
- skilled in communication & leading by example / training others
- focussed on quality food preparation & presentation
- enjoy having a laugh & being creative with your team and dishes
- knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
- excellent problem-solving capabilities
- ability to multi-task creating high-quality dishes under pressure
- eager to partake in ongoing on-the-job training to improve personal and team performance
- available to work Saturday and Sunday in this fast-paced position
Core Elements:
- deliver high quality food in a timely and effective manner
- supervise and coordinate activities of chefs and production employees
- maintain purchasing, receiving and storage standards, while managing budget expectations
- assist with menu planning
- follow appropriate food handling procedures to ensure temperature and hygiene control
- ensure that all standards are kept to the highest
- monitor, coach and support your team with passion and fun
- encourage individuality, innovation and initiative in your team members
- provide hands-on leadership across all service areas
