The Opportunity

We’re seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of independent practitioners operating from our sought-after Eltham & Panton Hill locations. This is an opportunity to support neurodiverse clients of all ages, enjoying the freedom of private practice with all the support of an established team.

About the role:

  • Ongoing, independent practitioner position, renting rooms from our Eltham, Panton Hill or Warrandyte locations with availability for 2-4 days per week.
  • Within your own choice of focus, provide occupational therapy services to a variety of private, Medicare and NDIS clients of all ages
  • You will support our growing client referral base and maintain the flexibility to continue to support your existing clients
  • You have the flexibility to support clients in-clinic or at their home/school or within the community with full administrative support
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (psychologists, counsellors, speech therapists) across multiple locations
  • Flexibility to incorporate outdoor and animal-assisted approaches

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • A compassionate and enthusiastic approach with a genuine desire to support client wellbeing
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Commitment to neuro-affirming practice principles and a client-centered approach
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience working with and supporting neurodivergent folks
  • Strong understanding of sensory processing and adaptive supports
  • Experience with or desire to offer animal-assisted interventions
  • Interest in outdoor/nature-based therapeutic approaches
  • Personal lived experience of neurodivergence (valued but not required)
