ABOUT TRACS – Empowering Educators. Supporting Children.

The Trauma Consultancy Service (TraCS) helps early childhood educators support vulnerable and traumatised children aged 3–5 by embedding trauma-informed practices into everyday learning.

Funded through School Readiness Funding, TraCS Practitioners work directly with educators—offering in-the-moment coaching during sessions with children and reflective support, training, and guidance.

  • Provide recommendations on strategies to strengthen children’s emotional and social regulation, pro-social skills, and school readiness, while supporting educators in applying trauma-informed approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, working independently to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with program goals, timelines, and budget.
