Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide personalised support for to join our team in providing support to two young adults living in Springwood in our beautiful Blue Mountains. Our Participants needs are lifelong, you will need to be a trusted and motivated carer to help our people live their best lives.

The role can be either casual or may suit a part time carer, to provide focussed daily care in their home with community access.

Qualities you can bring to the role:

– Focussed on providing the best quality of life for the personal growth, skill development and health of residents

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team ensuring the well-being of residents

– Rapport to build positive relationships with residents, parents and colleagues

– Understanding integrity supports dignity for our residents and you respect confidentiality

– Willingness to learn and grow in the role

Experienced?

– Seasoned in working with individuals displaying challenging behaviours

– Excellent communication skills

– Compassionate, polite and patient

– Being calm and professional in high pressure situations

– Basic reporting and computer skills

– Driver’s license preferred
