About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support & Finance Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role is essential to the smooth running of our finance and administrative operations. You’ll be the friendly face of our office, while also supporting key financial processes including bank reconciliations and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Be the first point of contact for calls, visitors, and internal enquiries.
  • Manage mail, filing, banking, and general office upkeep.
  • Coordinate onboarding tasks including IT and workspace setup.
  • Maintain tidy and functional office spaces, escalating issues as needed.

Finance & Systems Support

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple corporate entities.
  • Assist with financial record preparation and internal reporting.
  • Provide backup for Accounts Payable using platforms like Lightyear and Xero.
  • Support month-end finance tasks and supplier account setup.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years’ experience in admin or finance support roles (AP exposure ideal).
  • High attention to detail and reliability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office; familiarity with Xero and Lightyear is a plus.
  • Ability to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure.
