Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

1. Proficient knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

3. Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

4. Solid understanding of financial statements preparation.

5. Proficiency in using accounting software applications (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

7. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet) on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.

2. Analyze financial data for discrepancies or issues that may arise during the reporting period.

3. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, documented, verified, and reported accurately within the given deadlines.

4. Assist in the preparation of budgets by providing historical data on expenditures patterns for different departments within the organization.

5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as department heads or managers to gather relevant information required for financial reporting purposes.

6 Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities such as accounts payable/receivable processing,

bank reconciliations,and payroll calculations

7.Review expense claims,receipts,and invoices;verify their accuracy before processing payment

8.Maintain proper filing systems for all accounting records according to established procedures

9.Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and statutory requirements.

10. Conduct regular audits to identify potential financial discrepancies or irregularities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is highly preferred.

3. Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably at the executive level.

4. Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.

5. Experience using accounting software applications (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

6. Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) will be an added advantage.

7.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
