Relationship Matters also provide Employee Assistance Programs, training and workplace consulting.

About the role

You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and managing accounts payable transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Performing credit card reconciliations and ensuring compliance with policy
  • Supporting debt collection activities, including following up overdue accounts
  • Monitoring and maintaining the accounts inbox, ensuring queries are responded to efficiently
  • Assisting with general finance administration and reporting tasks as required

Responsibilities will include:

Accounts Payable:

  • Process supplier batches for payment;
  • Act as the initial contact for all supplier invoice enquiries;

Accounts Receivable:

  • Act as the initial contact for third-party accounts receivable enquiries.
  • Processing of client refunds and update client management system.
  • Direct debit set up for client payment plans in online payment gateway
  • Follow up on outstanding debtors to ensure timely payments.

Banking and Financial Records:

  • Maintain banking transactions, perform bank reconciliation(s) to ensure accuracy and associated reporting.
  • Enter credit card transactions.
  • Reconcile petty cash.

You are a motivated and reliable individual with a keen interest in finance and administration. You thrive in structured environments and take pride in delivering accurate and timely work. You’re someone who brings a proactive attitude, takes ownership of tasks, and isn’t afraid to ask questions or seek support when needed.
