The Role

This is a hands-on Site Manager role for an experienced, ambitious professional to coordinate and control all physical aspects of the day-to-day working on construction projects to ensure safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

· Oversee all construction activities on site, ensuring that they are completed on schedule and within budget

· Manage and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure they are working efficiently and to the required quality standards

· Ensure that all works are in accordance with the design plans and specifications

· Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential issues or risks and take corrective action as necessary

· Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

· Liaise with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on the project status

· Ensure that all project documentation is maintained and up to date

The Candidate

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects

· Exposure to either new hotels and/or hotel refurbishments, or high-end commercial fit-outs necessary

· Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

· Ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues

· Experience in managing projects within budget and on schedule

· Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build relationships with stakeholders
