About Pace
At Pace Farm, we’re proud of our strong family values that have guided us since the 1970s. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s largest egg producers, delivering the freshest, tastiest eggs nationwide. As the leading supplier of farm-fresh eggs and egg products, our mission is to continue setting the standard in the industry by valuing our people and equipping them with the skills to deliver top-quality products and service. With egg-citing growth and expansion on the horizon, now’s a great time to join us and be part of our continued success!
About the role
You’ll work with the Pace Planning Team to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards. The Team manages the production process from start to finish coordinating with different departments to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.
What you’ll do
- Assist in creating and managing the production schedule based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels, ensuring that production runs smoothly and that there are no delays or bottlenecks.
- Ensure inventory levels to ensure ungraded eggs, packaging materials, and finished goods are available when needed. You’ll also be monitoring inventory levels to prevent waste.
- Communicate with different departments (e.g. procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams) in real-time regarding any production delays or issues that could impact delivery schedules.
- Monitor transport planning – farm pickups, graded ungraded eggs, as well as packaging materials and CHEP pallets.
