About the Role

New Aim is hiring a Channel Growth Manager — a commercially driven, analytical, and results-oriented individual to take full ownership of a fast-growing ecommerce sales channel.

In this role, you’ll operate like a mini CEO, responsible for the end-to-end performance of thousands of SKUs on a specific ecommerce platform. This includes shaping strategy across product availability, pricing, promotions, and partner relationships — with one goal: driving profitable, sustainable growth.

You’ll immerse yourself in sales data, spot trends, uncover opportunities, and take action fast. More than just managing a channel, you’ll influence company-wide strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams across finance, marketing, logistics, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Channel Operations & Growth

  • Partner with channel partners to identify areas of growth, including but not limited to, increasing selection, ensuring product availability, running deals and promotions, improving delivery performance and negotiating fees.
  • Identify trends and key opportunities, inform strategic decisions to improve channel effectiveness by utilising data analytics to monitor performance metrics,
  • Maintain strong partnerships with channel partners to stay informed on platform updates and best practices.
  • Participate in business reviews with key partners, contributing insights and data-driven recommendations, negotiating for strategic deals & promotions and more, and executing joint business plans.

2. Performance & Strategy Execution

  • Execute and contribute to the development of channel growth strategies that align with business objectives and overall company goals, with a focus on driving bottom line growth.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify industry trends, customer behaviour shifts, competitive threats, and opportunities that can drive channel growth and new business development.
  • Contribute to strategic cross-functional projects with category, operations, product and analytics to drive innovation and channel growth, as well as to improve operational efficiency.
  • Constantly innovate and experiment to drive long-term growth.

Desired Background:

  • Experience: at least 3 years of experience in eCommerce or retail. Prior experience with P&L, account management and business development responsibilities are desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, extract insights, and make informed recommendations to optimize channel performance.
  • Problem Solving: Able to navigate challenges and take initiative to break down complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable steps to drive growth.
  • Project Management: Comfortable managing multiple tasks, coordinating across teams, meeting deadlines, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to liaise with internal teams and external channel partners, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of growth initiatives.
  • Self-Starter Attitude: Proactive, adaptable, and eager to experiment with new strategies to drive channel success.
