About the role:
As a Gardener, you will be responsible for providing gardening support to our clients at their homes. You are someone who has their own vehicle which is able to transport some gardening equipment and tools, can travel in and around, between client homes throughout the day and is passionate and understanding for providing support to the elderly that require assistance. We are looking for someone who is available between 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday and weekends where required
We are looking for people who have experience:
- General garden maintenance – hedging, pruning of trees and shrubs, lawn mowing and edging
- Weed control
- Fertilising and mulching
- Planting and laying turf
- General gardening maintenance

About you:
- Highly motivated
- Previous gardening experience
- Can work independently
- Trade background/qualifications preferred
- Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, Home care or hotel environment – desirable
- A service, solution, and preventative approach with strong customer service skills
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems and have access to a smartphone
- A current driver’s license and access to a registered, insured and well-presented car
- The right to work in Australia & can obtain a satisfactory Police Check (Mandatory)

Responsibilities:
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Mow and edge lawns
- Trim and prune trees and shrubs
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Maintain garden equipment and tools
- Keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris
- Collaborate with landscaping team to design and implement new outdoor spaces
- Provide excellent customer service to client
