Kalis Hospitality ownes 6 hotels/pubs in Tasmania, 4 of these venues are located in Hobart Area. About the role:

  • Lead day-to-day venue operations with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
  • Manage rosters, and stock control to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and the local community, creating a welcoming and positive environment for both guests and staff
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, RSA, and RCG requirements
  • Work closely with a supportive team across gaming, functions and events, marketing, HR, and compliance – you’re never on your own

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ hospitality management experience, ideally across bar, bistro, gaming, accommodation and functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • A positive, energetic approach with a genuine passion for people and service
  • Natural communicator who builds rapport easily with both guests and team members
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings – with fair rostering across the leadership team
