About the Opportunity

As the Used Car Sales Manager at Audi Centre Canberra, you’ll play a key leadership role within our dealership – overseeing our pre-owned vehicle operations and leading a dedicated sales team.

Your primary responsibility will be to drive the performance of the used car department through a strong focus on team development, sales process, customer experience, and profitability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, hands-on leader with previous automotive leadership or sales management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and support a team of sales consultants to achieve volume and gross profit targets.
  • Work closely with the General Sales Manager to forecast monthly sales and expenses.
  • Oversee used vehicle inventory, including stock mix, days in stock, and vehicle presentation standards.
  • Assist with customer interactions to ensure high satisfaction and successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate with marketing to support dealership campaigns and drive enquiry.
  • Ensure the used car operation aligns with Audi brand standards and JMG’s commitment to quality.

About You:

  • Proven experience in automotive sales, with leadership or management experience highly regarded.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a passion for achieving results.
  • Excellent communication, team leadership and customer service skills.
  • Sound understanding of dealership operations, inventory control, and gross margin management.
  • A proactive and professional approach, with a genuine desire to lead by example.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
