About the Opportunity:
We’re currently seeking an experienced Roadworthy Technician to join our workshop at Eastern Honda / Chery Doncaster.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Performing comprehensive internal and roadworthy inspections across various makes and models.
- Diagnosing and addressing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conducting general servicing and repairs including oil changes, tyre rotations, brake work, and fluid checks.
- Using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
- Working collaboratively with the broader service team to ensure quality outcomes and timely turnaround.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- A relevant automotive trade qualification and current VIC Roadworthy Licence (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge across a range of makes and models.
- Previous experience in a busy service department or dealership environment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
