The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking an experienced Hook & Skip Truck Driver to join our Waste Operations team in Newman and Port Hedland. This is a residential, full-time position, ideal for a skilled, reliable and safety conscious operator who takes pride in safety, teamwork, and getting the job done right.
• This is not a FIFO role
• Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Newman or Port Hedland
• Accommodation (rental) subsidy provided

About You
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and safety-focused — and ready to contribute to a high-performing team. You’ll bring:
• A valid and current HR licence (MC licence desirable)
• White Card (construction induction)
• Previous hook/skip truck experience (ticket or prior VOC advantageous)
• A clean driving record
• Experience working in mining or high-compliance environments
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and competently
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Strong safety awareness and a proactive mindset
• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to getting the job done
Key Responsibilities
• Safely and efficiently operate skip bin and hook lift trucks
• Deliver and collect bins at mine sites and designated locations
• Perform daily pre-start and end-of-day vehicle checks
• Adhere to traffic management plans and road rules
• Keep vehicles and work areas clean and tidy
• Accurately complete job sheets and reports
• Interact professionally with clients and site personnel
• Report any defects, safety concerns, or issues immediately
• Comply with all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
