About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Service Coordinator to join our Support at Home team in Franklin. This role is central to the effective delivery of services across one or more geographic zones, ensuring our clients receive timely and high-quality care in their own homes. You will lead the day-to-day scheduling and supervision of Personal Care Workers, Domestic Workers, and Home & Garden Maintenance Workers, acting as the first point of support and guidance for frontline staff.

This is a permanent part-time position (0.8 FTE) with a strong focus on rostering, workforce coordination, staff support, and ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Support at Home guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage efficient rosters and workforce allocations across service zones
  • Supervise and support frontline workers, including onboarding and performance monitoring
  • Ensure services align with client care plans and meet regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Monitor compliance with WHS policies and maintain up-to-date staff certifications
  • Act as an escalation point for client concerns and support positive client experiences

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in aged care, disability or community services
  • Strong skills in scheduling, rostering, and workforce coordination
  • Leadership capability to mentor and support staff
  • Sound problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current National Police Check (less than 3 months old)
  • Working with Vulnerable People Card and Driver Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar supervisory or scheduling role
