Reporting to our Project Controls Lead the Document Controller/Project Controls Coordinator will play a vital role in managing documentation workflows and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project status and costs in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.

Purpose of Position:
The Document Controller and Project Controls Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining high standards of document quality and integrity while supporting project scheduling and cost control functions. This role is essential in managing documentation workflows and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project status and costs in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
What you will be doing:
As a Document Controller/Project Controls Coordinator, you will be developing and maintaining robust document control procedures aligned with ISO standards and project requirements, ensuring all documentation is organized, traceable, and compliant. This includes managing SharePoint, overseeing document quality checks, and training staff on control processes. The position also supports project scheduling by creating and updating detailed timelines, analising performance using tools like MS Project and earned value management, and preparing reports for stakeholders. Additionally, the role contributes to cost control by tracking expenditures, supporting budget management, and assisting with financial reporting and forecasting.
A bit about you:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in document control and/or project controls in a similar environment.
- Diploma or tertiary education in business, engineering or project management preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining high-quality document control systems, including advanced proficiency with SharePoint.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project,) and familiarity with project planning methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as MYOB Advanced
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity and quality.

- Excellent written & oral communication skills including the ability to present and facilitate confidently.

You need to be legally entitled to work in Australia to be eligible to apply for this role. The role will require some on-site presence at the project site in Moree, NSW.
