About the Role
Join an award winning team working across multiple different functions held right here at GMHBA Stadium. As the Functions Chef, you will be responsible to lead and introduce creative innovative ideas to all culinary offers across the club whilst maintaining responsibility for consistent delivery of products by all team members.
Responsibilities
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service in line with our Food Safety plan
Lead, Develop and instruct Culinary Team Members in new methods and standards of food production techniques
Ensure client satisfaction is given highest priority
Organise and Manage daily and weekly work schedules for all Team Members
Supervise Culinary Team as required and liaise with Sous Chef
Ensure that all food items are prepared, cooked and presented as outlined and specified on menus
Control quality and quantity of all food items prepared
Check daily production in accordance with function sheets
Monitor portion size and food quality and inspect methods of preparation
Monthly accurate stock takes of all food items
Ensure that all Occupational Health and Safety requirements for the Club are met within your department
Represent the Club in a positive manner demonstrating the guiding principles and pride at all times
About You
Qualified Chef
2 years’ experience as a Function Chef in a venue with multiple food outlets
Hold a current Working With Children’s Check
