Accounts And Payroll Officer

GC Entertainment Sydney is currently recruiting a Payroll Officer to join our Sydney team to work towards all aspects of employee payment in the Company while working with our Finance team, We require someone who can do Payroll 4 in a day weekly and the rest working on Finance related, You will also need to respond to all enquiry’s from payroll emails.

Key responsibilities will include:

End-to-end payroll, including the maintenance of employee details within payroll systems, maintenance of employee personnel files, payroll processing, all legislative on-cost processing, reporting requirements and payment and end of year payment summary processing

Ensure payment of all pay related on costs such as PAYG taxation, payroll tax and workers compensation premiums is completed before due date

Create and balance superannuation files monthly for payment

Responsible for compiling Employee payment summaries at end of year including preparation, reconciliation, addition of FBT amounts and distribution (via ATO portal)

Assisting team members with checking of different pay runs, reports and calculations as required.

Manage the month end reporting process

About You

Very desirable to possess strong knowledge of Connectteam/ClockOn/MYOB/XERO

Previous demonstrated experience with computerized knowledge of rostering and timekeeping systems

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
