About the Role:

G Force is looking for a driven and experienced individual to lead and manage merchandising projects across Western Australia. As the State Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of merchandising and display installations in large-format retail environments, particularly within a leading hardware retail network.

You will manage a team of project employees and ensure the consistent implementation of nationwide merchandising standards and Bunnings compliance requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong background in merchandising, team leadership, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage state-wide merchandising projects in coordination with the Senior Projects Manager and State Manager.

• Supervise and develop Project Team Leaders and Employees.

• Plan and execute store rollouts, refits, and display installations according to client and Bunnings standards.

• Conduct quality assurance checks on all project work carried out by G Force staff and contractors.

• Communicate with retail store contacts to confirm schedules and rollout changes.

• Submit weekly project reports and other client reporting as required.

• Approve daily reporting tools and manage project time-tracking systems.

• Travel within your state/territory and occasionally interstate for training or national projects.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar project or team leadership role in retail merchandising, shopfitting, or related fields.

• Strong understanding of power tools, assembly practices, and retail merchandising standards.

• Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and confidence using project reporting software.

• Ability to lift up to 15kg and work at heights when required.

• Familiarity with Bunnings operations and systems (PDT usage, standards) is a strong advantage.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. First Aid, EWP, Test & Tag) highly regarded.

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.

• Availability for travel across Australia.

• Physically fit with a strong safety mindset.

• Must supply own steel cap boots.

• Professional personal presentation and willingness to work flexible hours.
