About the role
This full-time leadership role will see you at the forefront of operations in our brand-new, high-tech packing facility. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a packing line and leading a team to meet production goals, deliver high-quality results, and maintain a strong team culture.
What you will be doing
- Lead and support your own team of packing team members and a Leading Hand
- Manage rostering, hours, and team performance
- Drive efficiency and accuracy in meeting customer orders and KPIs
- Coach and develop your team to grow within their roles
- Plan and collaborate with other leaders across the packing operation
- Troubleshoot packing equipment and resolve day-to-day line issues
- Ensure all quality and hygiene standards are met
What will you bring to the role
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to motivate and influence people from all backgrounds
- High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook & Excel)
- Experience working on a production line (a bonus!)
- A hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
