Fire and Safety Australia is currently seeking two experienced Medical Emergency Services Officers (MESOs) for a minimum 12-month full-time contract. These roles are based in the Pilbara region and operate on an 8:6 and 7:7 roster.
As a MESO, you’ll be responsible for delivering both emergency response and medical treatment services. The role requires someone who can work independently and collaboratively, is confident in leading training sessions, and has prior experience working in the Pilbara.
To be considered, you must be based in Western Australia, as the positions are site-based in the Pilbara.
This is a fixed-term role offering the full suite of employee benefits, including annual leave, sick leave, and superannuation paid on all hours worked. There is also potential for casual opportunities, depending on availability and preference.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue – Including Vertical and Confined Space Rescue
- Minimum of Cert IV Health Care (Ambulance) HLT41115 or higher
- Current Collect Specimens
- Current MR/HR Drivers Licence
- Rio Tinto Sap
- Current Police Clearance (No older than a year)
- Ability to work solo with a minimum of 2 year’s experience on a mine site in a similar role
