About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a curious, enthusiastic and capable individual to join our team and help drive exciting advancements in our Blue Mallee Eucalypt plantations. You’ll contribute to pioneering work in plant genetics, productivity, and sustainable plantation management. Working closely with our farm team, CEO, and external consultants, you’ll have a real impact on improving our plantation, harvesting, and distillation processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two weeks will be the same, but your role will include:
• Conducting field and lab-based research to improve our understanding of genetics, growth patterns, oil yield, soil health, and land management.
• Managing and monitoring seed orchards, trials, and other research assets.
• Helping to design and establish new orchard sites.
• Applying the latest in horticulture, forestry, and agri-tech to optimise productivity.
• Collaborating with a passionate and hands-on team to manage plantations, boost eucalyptus oil yields, and maintain high safety standards.
