The role
The People & Culture Specialist will be responsible in helping to develop, implement, support, and review all People & Culture (P&C) department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems, with a focus on talent acquisition. This role will also assist with the facilitation of Learning & Development programs and Remuneration & Benefits initiatives and participate in performance evaluation processes including assistance with the handling of discipline and grievance issues.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
- Build and maintain a talent pool for specified roles
- Support the development and management of P&C reports and data processes to uncover insights, identify trends, and drive informed business decisions, employee engagement, and performance improvements
- Support the management of employee relations by advising managers, participating in investigations, and ensuring due process and disciplinary actions align with company policies and legal requirements
- Support the employee life cycle to ensure a smooth and positive experience from onboarding to offboarding
- Support workplace health and safety by investigating incidents, maintaining compliance records, advising on complex cases, and assisting with WHS processes and initiatives
- Assist in the development of Endotherapeutics’ policies and procedures
- Assist in the implementation and facilitation of Learning & Development initiatives across the business
- Provide comprehensive support across all P&C functions while building strong relationships and delivering professional services under management guidance
- Support P&C projects to enhance employee experience and culture, while assisting with ad hoc and administrative tasks as required
- Continuously develop skills and stay updated on relevant technologies, regulations, and industry best practices through training and learning activities
About you
- Tertiary education in Human Resource Management or similar
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Proven end-to-end talent acquisition experience
- Proven success in building and maintaining Talent tools which can be converted into hires
- Proven generalist experience in human resources
- Knowledge of Australian labour laws and regulations will be advantageous
- Ability to create and review various P&C-related reports using to assist in analysis and decision-making
- Capability to monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with organizational strategies and work objectives
- Experience in using and managing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), with Employment Hero experience being advantageous
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, Employment Hero will be advantageous, LinkedIn, and document management and sharing platforms
