Maintenance Manager

We’re on the hunt for a hands-on, solutions-driven Maintenance Manager to take ownership of our preventative and reactive maintenance operations across two key sites – primarily Truganina, with up to two days per week in Richmond.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage our full-site maintenance function, ensuring high plant and equipment performance with minimal downtime.

• Develop and execute a preventative maintenance schedule using MEX or similar systems.

• Coordinate trades and contractors for emergency repairs, site shutdowns, and capital works.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, and workplace safety standards.

• Maintain contractor registers, permits, safety inductions, and risk assessments.

• Support continuous improvement through root cause analysis, efficiency reviews, and equipment upgrades.

• Oversee general building and facilities maintenance including HVAC, fire systems, plumbing, and waste management.

• Drive accountability, proactive maintenance culture, and safety-first thinking across the business.

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid experience in a maintenance leadership role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Trade qualifications

• Strong knowledge of modern asset management, preventive maintenance, and shutdown coordination.

• Hands-on experience with maintenance management systems like MEX is highly desirable.

• Working knowledge of GMP, OHS, and compliance within a production facility.

• Strong technical ability, people leadership skills, and confidence working in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical, architectural, and equipment documentation.

• A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
