Rārangi Utu ā-Mātauranga – Education Payroll Limited (EPL) is a core part of Aotearoa New Zealand’s education sector, delivering an accurate, timely and secure payroll for the people at the heart of our education system – teachers and support staff.
Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role
You will work in a sociable environment, where things can happen quickly and continuously. As part of a team, you will support users of the Schools Payroll system (EdPay), including:
- Building, developing, and maintaining relationships
- Processing payroll transactions
- Providing support to customers and responding to requests or queries via phone and email
- Reviewing data for accuracy
- Ensuring appropriate and accurate records are maintained
- Assisting to ensure compliance with legislation and employment agreements
- Typically, a day as a payroll advisor includes joining your team for a morning hui, liaising with school administrators and principals over email and phones to assist them in their use of the Edpay payroll system, processing payroll changes, setting up new employees, and enjoying social interactions with our friendly team.
The starting salary for the role will be between $50,000 – $60,000 per annum plus up to 4% employer Kiwisaver contributions.
