About the role
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative leader to join EMPHN as a Data Integration Specialist. The role is instrumental in progressing EMPHN’s digital health and data transformation agenda. You will build and develop data systems, report advanced analytics, support continuous improvement initiatives while also contributing to EMPHN’s Data Governance and demonstrating individual leadership and drive effective relationship building with stakeholders.
About you
You are a capable and agile data integration specialist with experience data engineering, a proven ability to deliver integrated data products in hybrid environments, and have a strong understanding of public health data sets and performance metrics utilised in health systems.
You enjoy enjoy working collaboratively and have strong communication skills that help you mentor colleagues and role model ENPHNS value and behaviours.
Your ability to display personal leadership alongside your technical skills ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable)
Proven experience in data engineering, including modelling, ETL, and delivery of integrated data products across cloud/on-prem environments
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Strong understanding of public health datasets and health system performance metrics
Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder health projects
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Quality Management Systems
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and resilient approach
Tech-savvy with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
