• Prepare food and beverage for guests whilst creating a thrilling, memorable guest experience.
• Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time.
• Complete service duties, accept customer orders and settle payments in an accurate and efficient manner utilising correct cash/comp handling procedures.
• Fully understands and consistently demonstrates relevant restaurant sequence of service.
• Correctly prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, adhering to recipes and specified measured pouring portions with appropriate garnish, accurate pricing, use of proper glassware and proper wine service.
• Clean and operate various beverage equipment including but not limited to, frozen beverage machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, ice machine and pouring gun.
• Be familiar with the food and beverage products, pricing, hours of operation and current specials within the daily operation.
• Prepare bar areas, ensuring an adequate supply of glassware and suitable stock levels within the bars to service the operation. Advise the Manager of replacement requirements.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with statutory and company hygiene requirements.
• Maintain a good knowledge of the complex, amenities, local services and surrounding attractions and promote effective communication ensuring that all co-workers maintain the same level of knowledge.
• Perform the duties of greeting and escorting guests to assigned seating section as directed by the Manager.
• Ensure a high standard of personal grooming and professional appearance at all times according to company policy.
• Follow all dispensing measures as per procedures and maintain breakage, wastage, stock variation and point of sale variances records.
• Adhere to all cash handling procedures, and record all cheque and money transactions in the point of sale system in accordance with policy and procedure. Balance and reconcile cash floats at the end of each shift.
• Advise the Manager of any equipment faults to ensure minimum disruption to guests.
• Complete all set-up duties in accordance with standard procedures and ensure general cleanliness and tidiness of work area.
• Perform all related duties as directed by Management.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure personal safety and the safety of other team members, contractors, labour hire, guests and visitors through co-operation with management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the responsibilities outlined in the WHS policy.
